When is the church open, and for what?

• This is held at 10:30 am every Sunday. 
• You will find the people welcoming.
• The service follows a structure and we sing songs to worship God. Yes, the leader will dress smartly for these special occasions, but please come as you are – there is no dress code at Hill Park. 
• We do not hold a specific childrens’ meeting. But we love having families worshipping with us. Children are always welcome and there is always a message and activities for them to engage with. 
• We believe that God speaks to us through preaching from the bible, today. So, you will hear a sermon (about 35-40 minutes long usually), in the service. The preacher will speak from the bible and explain what a text from the bible means for us today. We believe the whole bible points to Jesus Christ and what He did for us by dying on a cross, to bring us to a relationship with God. 
• Time to chat, ask questions, and enjoy refreshments always follows.

On Sunday evening there are different meetings taking place. We believe that Sunday is a special day and we want to do all that we can to worship together. Once a month we have a Gospel Service. Once a month we have a topical bible study. Once a month we hold a Communion Service. And, because we love other churches in the area, we will join them on some Sunday evenings (so we won’t be in the building!) Christians love to pray together and we, as a church, feel we very much need to pray for one another and ask God to bless His church. We believe God is very willing, but He asks Christians to come together to pray for blessing. 

We meet once a month on Sunday a Sunday morning, most Tuesday evenings and also sometimes in the middle of the day to pray. Some of these meetings we offer people to join us online.

For over 10 years now, Hill Park has been glad to serve the community through hosting a Foodbank. Every Tuesday we are open and Christians are there to care and speak with folk about hope in Jesus Christ. We are open every Tuesday from 10-1pm. Referred food parcels are collected, a popular time to chat and be together and collect any Food Share items which are collected from local supermarkets also. 

Throughout the winter months we host a Warm Room also. Every Thursday 9-12:00. Free food, warmth, wifi, games, time together is offered to all.
